super duper lousy day!

really sucks! how how???? i think i can't cope!? damn it! I need 48hrs! no no....don't be a SLAVE to $$$$! Shit!
really pissed off with someone at work. y must these pple make me do last min. jobs???? super duper damn selfish!
whatever!!! I wonder if my boss know all these!??? so what if he knows haiz ....it's been going on for months and still.....really REGRET! but what to do??? it's really not justifiable! I hate it! god, pls help!
Going forward will be worse, even busier. just to fa xie...if not will become mad one fine day!

Pigs and Truffles

Truffles are underground fungi. They are very expensive because of their unique smell and taste. Truffles are used to flavour dishes, particularly in French cuisine. As they grow underground, farmers need the help of pigs or dogs to sniff them out.

Female pigs are naturally attracted to the smell of truffles because it resembles a chemical scent given off by male pigs. Most farmers now prefer to use dogs to help them locate truffles because pigs love to eat them and often gobble them up before the farmer are able to get to the well-loved truffles.

I must say it's a fruitful day indeed! like a mini spring cleaning day boy....super shaq.

A super sunny day...hence my laundry were dry by evening.

As usual, don't know what to eat for dinner. Finally, decided to go tabao from Meidi-ya cos had craving for jap. potato salad.

Bought a box of sushi and potato salad. Saw a new stall selling grilled chicken ball so bought two sticks to try. Not nice....salty & not grilled enough, unlike tori-q.

my 1st virtual birthday cake today

1st greeting was from my bestest buddy who's in brisbane now enjoying life. She's 1st cos oz is 2 hours ahead ma...hahah. 2nd one was from my other bestest. she's the 1st to wish me in SG. so touched....

Finally managed to bring wen & mei to bongout! After walking all the way under the hot sun, we wanted to sit indoor of course. I was sticky man.

Waited for about 5mins for them to clear the table. Mei ordered tonkotsu ramen (tr) while wen ordered katsu don. tr really smell so gooda! But wen can't really smell it cos she was having sinus. poor her. As for me, I had oyako don yum yum....(had teriyaki chicken the day before with my colleagues during lunch).

Later, mei had green tea mochi with red bean. Wen & I had home-made green tea ice-cream......Mei tried the latter but didn't really like it cos she found the taste too 'milky'. Wen likes it and I find it not bad. Anyway, mei was happy with her choice and proud of it haha.

After settling the bill, we lingered a while to check out the 2nd hand cds, books, etc. Thanks gals for lunch! Really appreciate that.

I guess everyone was happy with the makan, so can jio hoon & her 3 little pigs the next round. Hopefully, everyone can make it.

We passed by Simply Bread and went in cos of the strong fragrance but didn't buy anything. But I took a free I.S. mag keke....

Oh ya, mei would love to go to the zoo on sat may 26. So is it on?

another disappointment

Went to the famous 'shao la' stall at river valley kopi tiam that also sells ipoh hor fun....the last last visit after so long, the char siew standard really dropped. Today, both char siew & shao rou can't make it man. sigh....even zion 87 better leh.

So next time, where should I go for nice one nearby??? any clues?
